DESCRIPTION
We are seeking an Asset Finance Relationship Director to work with Relationship Managers and Directors at a leading bank to cover either South Wales or the Bristol area which extends to Swindon , Gloucester , Cheltenham , Avonmouth.
You will be focussed on managing a large portfolio of existing customers , our client has 150 customer in South Wales and 80 on the greater Bristol area. You will be financing a wide range of assets for customers with a turnover from £10m to £350m.
Your role will be contractually home based but 2/3 of your time will be spent either at the regional head offices on the territories with your existing or prospective customers.
You will be tasked to deliver £40m a year of asset finance business on the Bristol sales area or £50m on the South Wales area at the target margin, offering typically Hire Purchase but also loans, Finance Lease and tactically Operating Lease solutions.
Candidate Profile
We are seeking applications from those living either in South Wales or on the Bristol territory .
You must have a strong background in asset finance sales in the mid market space. In particular our client are seeking a depth of experience on larger and more complex deals and of dealing effectively on the upper end of the mid market space for this particular role.
Our clients have had most success hiring Relationship Directors with a background in tier one or larger challenger bank funders who are experienced working in a regulated environment and are already familiar with compliance , KYC , AML etc. However , they are open minded and will consider applications from those with an asset finance sales background with other funders.
You will need a broad understanding of not only all the main asset finance products but good all round knowledge of credit, documentation , deal structuring and pricing plus a consultative approach condusive to operating in the mid market and working effectively with a range of colleagues at a leading bank.
JOB PACKAGE
Salary range to £75,000 possibly more by approval + bonus up to c£20,000 plus company car and excellent benefits.
