Our client are seeking a Business Development Manager to further drive volumes from their vendor channel. You will inherit existing relationships in both hard and soft assets delivering circa £5m a year plus be responsible for leading a member of staff.
Your role will be to maximise income from existing vendors as well as identifying , targeting , winning , on boarding and then managing new vendors that meet our clients asset class and rate aspirations.
The successful individual will be expected to grow annual volumes from the c£5m you inherit to £12m over time.
Our clients objective is to be or become their vendor partners preferred funder.
You will deliver on that objective by provide a best in class service that encompasses a sophisticated portal that provides on line deal proposal , acceptance , documentation fulfilment , e-sigs to payout in as short as just 30 minutes , deal size allowing.

We are seeking applications from experienced and successful asset finance business developers. We will give first preference to those who can demonstrate a depth of experience of vendor driven success and ideally across both soft and hard asset sectors.
You will be someone who will be keen to demonstrate your success to us and clearly possess gravitas and presence to connect at senior levels with prospects and across multiple functions.
You will possess strategic sales communication and presentation skills and up to date IT skills.
You will be a real self starter who needs minimal day to day supervision but someone who works effectively with credit , operations , sales support and the SLT.
Preferred location is someone based UK South but we will not reject strong applicants from further north who can demonstrate excellent vendor experience and understand that this a national role and are willing to travel to a head office in the South of the UK typically once weekly.
Salary up to £75,000 OTE £125,000 , uncapped earnings , monthly paid commission , plus company car , generous pension etc.
