Our client a long established head lessor and a part of a larger group are seeking a business development manager to drive business from lease brokers across the northern home counties , Buckinghamshire , Bedfordshire , Herts etc.
You will inherit lease brokers that will deliver roughly 25% of your realistic annual target of £8m and therefore be expected to self source £6m of new business yourself in year one.
Our client have a flexible underwriting policy encompassing financing soft assets as well as hard assets and a willingness to refinance assets up to 5 years old. As a consequence of their asset class and credit flexibility they seek a realistic return of 12% before their brokers add their own margin.
Service levels are very competitive to brokers our client offering on line documentation, same day decision and same day pay outs of deals.
To apply you should live on the sales area and a have a stable and successful background in asset finance sales.
Preference will be given to those who already have experience as a Broker Manager but those who have dealer or vendor driven experience in particular of soft assets will also be considered as will those with a direct asset finance background who can make the transition to being a success working with brokers as opposed to end user deal closing.
What is most crucial is have a mindset of confidently being able to target and win new broker business and the ability to find and win deals from brokers at 12.0%. You must have a genuine willingness and desire to identify, prospect and win new name broker business
The above combined with as mentioned evidence of strong sales success in asset finance plus a good understanding of all asset finance products, credit, documentation and deal structuring / pricing are all of course pre-requisites to apply and to succeed in the role.

Base salary to £60,000 , possibly more as needed to secure the best ,
Plus monthly paid uncapped commission .
Realistic earning potential at least £80,000 year 1 , year 2 £100,000 + .
