DESCRIPTION
Our client a long established lessor and part of a larger group are seeking to hire a Deputy UK Financial Controller to strengthen their UK finance leadership team.
You will work closely with the UK Finance Controller who leads a finance team that encompasses all aspects of management accounting and statutory reporting functions.
It is expected that you would become the natural successor to the existing Financial Controller and at that point in time would take over leadership of the finance team.
Our clients offices are southern based but it is expected that the position will be one that the successful applicant can fulfil working from home for 50% of the time.
Candidate Profile
Our client are seeking a fully qualified accountant for this position, however to increase choice they are likely to be open minded about whether you are FCA or CIMA qualified.
Experience of the asset finance or leasing sector would be a distinct advantage but we are willing to consider applications from those who are fully qualified but whose experience is from outside the finance and leasing sector.
Whilst the role will not have any direct reports initially, as and when you become UK Financial Controller you would inherit and then lead the finance team, we are happy to disclose to appropriately skilled applicants the size of the current team.
We are therefore seeking applications from those who either ideally have some leadership experience today or can demonstrate that they have the clear potential to lead the team in the future.

Salary to £60,000 + car allowance and bonus
