DESCRIPTION
Our client are seeking a Pre-Sales Manager where the role has a strong credit focus to assess and analyse the risk associated with individual transactions, proposed by the field sales organisation in the context of existing approved partner programs, and reviewed with consideration of the live portfolio.
The role will require daily co-ordination, review and interaction with the field sales organisation and Country Manager. The individual will be expected to receive or research a variety of inputs from different sources and convert them into a well considered & fully written up credit proposal. This will then be submitted to the selected external funder partner for their decision; it will need to be managed with them to a full conclusion.
Every transaction will need to be reviewed in the context of the live portfolio; interaction with the Portfolio Manager & Production Support team will be crucial in the context of understanding the background and history of the partner, vendor, funder & customer landscape.
The role will require strong interactive & collaborative relationships with key contacts at all external funders; specifically, this role will be responsible for the primary ongoing relationship with key credit & account management contacts within all external funders.
Based from our clients Surrey offices key skills required in this role include a proven ability to research & analyse data relating to company performance, including key financial metrics, and to convert that into well structured formal credit proposals appropriate for detailed external analysis & review.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a desire to take responsibility and be hands on, irrespective of the task at hand. They will interact with colleagues across all internal functions and external partners (vendors & funders) and know how to take a variety of inputs and convert them into a holistic, considered credit proposal/decision.

Candidate Profile
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role or within a credit function is essential.
Current experience in a scaling Financial Services business would be a distinct advantage.
Previous experience with a Technology Equipment Funder would be very useful.
