DESCRIPTION
Our client are seeking a Sales Manager to inherit manage and further relationships across the North of England. The role will involve managing new business introductions made through relationships with existing third party introducers such as brokers , largely , as well as sourcing and establishing new introducer relationships with finance intermediaries, accountants, and other lessors.
The role will involve a thorough evaluation of new business proposals submitted in order to establish credit appetite, together with close collaboration with the introducer. This will involve customer meetings, transaction structuring, and the production of asset valuations where necessary. The role will also require high levels of due diligence, financial and credit analysis, and the preparation of credit submissions to the board of our client.
Following credit approval, the role will involve the negotiation and agreement of suitable documentation and oversight of the pay out process. It is the responsibility of the Sales Manager to ‘manage’ the transaction from proposal to pay-out, in conjunction with the supporting teams in the business, such as sales support, credit & risk, operations, finance & compliance as appropriate for the transaction.
Our client are seeking a highly motivated individual ideally with experience in the UK middle ticket leasing market working on transaction sizes in excess of £1 million across a wide range of market sectors and asset classes. Transactions sizes typically range from £500k – £5m.
Volume and margin targets are realistic and the national team has significantly over achieved their targets over the last fiscal. We will be happy to discuss volume and margin targets with appropriately skilled and experienced applicants.
Candidate Profile
We are seeking application from those that are highly self-motivated and capable of working from your own home and able to travel to our clients offices 2- 3 days a month. You must also be well organised, results orientated, and be prepared to work to tight deadlines.
It is important that you possess a broad range of structuring skills, legal and documentation experience, as well as knowledge of managed service agreements and assignment arrangements.
Well developed credit and cashflow analysis skills are also required to fulfil the role as are broad documentation and pricing experience and commission structures.
It would be beneficial if applicants have either worked in a brokerage capacity in the past or have existing experience of working within a lessor environment that sources business through brokers or other third party introducers..
However this broker and or third party experience is a not a pre requisite to apply if you have demonstrable £1m+ middle ticket experience and also all the outlined technical skills.
