Our client an established asset financier are seeking to develop an additional strategic income stream from vendor introduced business to augment their existing income streams that encompass hard and soft assets but are today largely either direct , professional introducer or broker sourced.
Your role will be to build a new business unit from scratch advising on what our clients proposition to the vendor sector should be, identifying prospecting and winning new vendors and then hiring staff to develop these partnerships to their fullest potential.
You will not only own the P&L for the vendor business unit but be responsible for the whole life income of the business unit , requiring your input on risk , pricing , arrears , asset management , collections etc.
Our client are realistic about what success looks like. Year one you will be expected to build a business that writes £25m of volume. Going forward our clients expectations are to match those of their other business units which are expected to grow to or are already writing c£100m a year.
We are seeking applications from those who have a real depth of experience in the vendor finance sector and can evidence success in winning new partnerships and possess the drive, energy and desire to create a new business unit.
We are seeking applications from those that have a rare combination of skills that encompass not only writing a business plan but personal business development and the ability to build and lead a sales team but also the technical skill set to contribute to such as products, pricing, risk etc.
Experience across a range of asset classes would be ideal but is not a prerequisite.
This is a national role thus we are flexible about your location but you should be willing to travel nationally to fulfil the role.

Base salary range to £125,000 + OTE of 50% , potential to earn to 100% + all usual benefits
