Our client a leading international lessor are seeking a Professions to identify, acquire, develop, and manage profitable new business predominately with Broker and direct customers within the Professions market ( solicitors , accountants , architects , dentists , doctors , veterinary , ophthalmics etc ) .
This is a pro-active new business role with success achieved via development of new relationships, alongside managing of existing Brokers within the channel.

This is a remote role with frequent UK travel required to support a network of national relationships.
Your key responsibilities will include
Developing new relationships with Brokers and direct to end customer in the Professions markets
Nurturing and building existing relationships with the sector
Pro-actively generating new leads through various channels including client visits, outbound calling, emailing, utilising various social media platforms, personal network, attendance of trade shows etc
Researching , creating and following up a target list for potential new business. Consistently canvass territory making customer calls and visits to discuss financing requirements, where applicable be able to sell the benefits of leasing.
Work closely and with direction of the Sales Manager and support of Internal Sales team to generate new business growth whilst controlling risks.
Conduct sales meetings with existing and prospective new clients
Responsible for the delivery of sales and product training within territory to drive greater product knowledge and product penetration across the core product types and systems
Identify opportunities to re-engage existing customers where business levels have dropped off.
Achieve budgeted sales targets inline with goals and strategy
Active approach to developing and supporting company digital strategy, including use of front end portals and API by customers and sales CRM system.
Candidate Profile
As this is a national role our client are flexible on your location but UK South would be preferable
Please apply if you have the following experience and skills
Sound commercial understanding and awareness of the financing industry gained within the asset and loan finance and/or similar equipment related environment.
Full knowledge of the financial products required for funding in the Professions sectors including leases, HPs
A good understanding in Professions sector
Are a self-starter – highly motivated & results driven
A Visible and proactive digital presence to leverage social selling
Broad experience of working in a new business role
Able to communicate complex and technical issues clearly and succinctly.
Confidence negotiating with senior stakeholders both internally and externally
Key understanding of sales processes and customer behaviours
Consistent track record in client engagement, pipeline building, opportunity qualification, deal management, business case generation, deal closure & handover

We are particularly interested in applications from those with some professions sector experience , those with experience of professions plus that of broker driven business as well as direct will be our clients preferred profile.
However , we understand that the professions finance sector is a narrow niche so if you have had some experience of financing for the sector but are not a dedicated professions only specialist please do apply.
We will also consider applications from those with experience of selling capital equipment or services into the professions sector providing you can demonstrate experience of using finance and leasing products.
Preferred salary is to £55,000 but slightly more may be available for a particularly strong applicant + a 25% of salary OTE with potential to earn up to 50% + a company car and generous benefits.
