Our client a leading challenger bank asset financier for whom we have successfully sourced a number of high performing staff over many years are seeking an additional Business Development Manager to join its team that are focussed on vendor and direct sourced asset finance business.
You will cover the North East sales area typically York to Newcastle and be responsible for prospecting largely new business from eithers vendor or dealers or direct customers.
The role is very largely new business orientated and therefore first year targets will reflect this
We are happy to disclose first year volume targets and also margin target to suitably qualified applicants.
Candidate Profile
To apply for the position you must live on the sales area of the North East located typically anywhere from York to Newcastle is viable.
You also need to have a breadth and depth of experience of the asset finance sales sector and have a demonstrable record of success in asset finance sales.
You will need good communication skills and IT skills encompassing the MS office suite of products( word , excel & powerpoint ) and a good understanding of credit sufficient to know what a viable deal is or how to structure a deal to make it viable.
Our clients thinking is that this role may appeal to someone who today is a self employed lease broker seeking to take up an employed position with a funder or someone working for a major lease brokerage who seeks to work a leading funder.
However , whatever your recent background what matters most is that you need to be a genuine new business developer who is willing and able to use a variety of different strategies and tactics to win new business whether this be from dealers or vendors or direct customers.
Salary to £60,000 plus potential to earn up to 75% of base salary in bonus plus company car and excellent benefits.
