Our client a leading international financier for whom we have successfully sourced high performing staff for over 20 years are seeking to further develop their existing presence in hard asset finance.
They are seeking senior originators who have hard asset direct customer contacts and / or dealer, vendor or OEM’s contacts that can be re-leveraged in their environment.
All asset classes with the exception of wheeled assets are of interest and our client has the ability to fund both own book and via a panel of leading funders. As a consequence it will be rare that any opportunity you find will not be fundable.
An excellent commission scheme exists that rewards you quarterly and is wholly uncapped, once you have reached your annual target your commission rate doubles.
You also earn commission on every deal you close there is no hurdle to pass before you start earning.
We will be happy to discuss the commission rates our client pays up to target and beyond target with suitably qualified applicants that we wish to put forward for the position.
Candidate Profile
To apply for these positions you must have a strong record of success in hard asset finance and must have either a portfolio of existing hard asset customers you can re-leverage at a new employer or a portfolio of dealer, vendor or OEM partners that you can re-leverage at a new employer.
If you do not have this customer base to re-leverage we will be unable to consider you for the position.
In terms of location our client operates a hybrid model, typically you will work from their offices in central London 2 days a week The rest of the week you can work from home. As a consequence we are seeking applications from those who are able and willing to partially work from central London.
However noting the above if you have the experience and customer base needed to be successful but are not readily located to sensibly and sustainably work from our clients offices 2 days a week we encourage you to engage with us.
What matters most is what you deliver not where you do it from. We will in this instance look to negotiate a solution to find a way for our client to secure you on terms that work for all parties.
What our client won’t compromise on is you having a real depth of new business development skills and a record of demonstrable success and crucially you having a desire to earn a very high and uncapped income.
It is expected that you will have the gravitas and presence to operate at C level with your customers and / or partners and across multiple functions and that you will have well developed deal structuring and credit skills to know how to shape a deal to make it viable.
Salary range £70,000 to £85,000 , quarterly paid commission with totally uncapped earnings , sensible targets will provide realistic year 1 earnings of £110,000 to £125,000 year 2 £135,000 to £150,000 , ( salary dependent ) .
High achievers at our client earn over £200,000 a year this should be you by year 3 in role or potentially rather sooner if you are an ambitious high achiever.
