Under the General Data Protection Regulations 2018 as a candidate or a client of Robinson Toms Recruitment you have a wide range of rights.
These rights include :

If you are a candidate we will typically hold data on you from the point at which you have first registered with us and we will hold this data until you request us to delete it.
We will typically hold your full name , address , contact information , home number , mobile number and email addresses , your nationality , whether you have a driving licence , your educational background, plus details of your current remuneration and your current notice period.
At any point of contact between ourselves following your initial registration we will look to update its accuracy.
We will not hold any data relating to sex, race, religion, disability, or sexual orientation.
Our files will also have a record of our contact with each other since you first registered with us.
We make a commitment that your CV will not be sent to any client without your prior agreement but which for speed such commitment may be given to us verbally or if you prefer by email.
Your CV in our corporate format will not include your address or your contact details.
If we are required to upload our version of your CV to one of our clients websites and their website requires us to provide additional contact information or details of your remuneration or notice period to our client we will advise you at the time you give us authority to submit your CV for the vacancy in question.
Our clients understand the need to maintain the confidentiality of any candidate introduced to them and are contractually committed under our terms of business to this effect.
If information is transferred outside of the European Union we seek to ensure that our high standards of Data Protection are adopted.
If you are a client we will hold data that typically will relate only to the vacancies that we have worked on for your company and feedback from your company on candidates your company have interviewed and, as appropriate hired following our introductions.
For offers of employment made and accepted or rejected we will hold the details you have provided to us of the terms of any offer made by your company to candidates we have introduced to your company. We will hold this data until you request us to delete it.
If you are a client or a candidate and you wish to see the data we hold on you or to exercise any of your rights simply send an email to the Registered Data Controller Sean Toms to sean_toms@robinson-toms.com and in the subject line of your email put Data Protection Request from and then put your name if you are a candidate or the name of your company if you are a client.
We are allowed in certain circumstances under the regulations to make a nominal charge to respond to requests and also allowed to refuse vexatious or unreasonable requests.
We are pleased to report that since founding our business in 2000 we have never had any candidate or client make any complaint to us in relation to Data Protection or even make any request under Data Protection of us.
