Our client our seeking additional hard asset finance business developers to join their fast growing and highly successful business.
Your role will be one of owning your own territory and driving from it a minimum of c£3m in year 1 but ideally £4-6m and to grow volumes to £6-8m in your second year in role.
To make the income outlined above you need to able to sell out to customers at 10% + nominal for own book business. Our clients scale means they have typically 30 funders active any one time , business that does suit their hard asset own book policy or transactions that can only be closed at finer rates are funded via their panel of funders which includes tier 1 , 2 and 3 operators.
You will be expected to manage your own territory as if you were running your own lease brokerage but you will have the resources of excellent systems, marcomms and senior management support to enable you to achieve your objectives.
Rewards are exceptional , typically our clients works on a 1/3 , 2/3 model of what you take out to what you bring in. Commission is paid on every deal you close whether held own book or funded and is paid monthly in arrears with no hurdle to cross before you commence earning.
Depending on whether a deal is held own book or funded dictates commission levels but for deals funded via their panel of funders commission is paid at 25% of the fee income received.
We are happy to discuss the excellent rates of commission paid for own book business with suitably qualified applicants but to give confidence in the reality of the earning potential we are happy to share that typically own book business currently average 11.0% nominal to the customer and our clients internal cost of funds is 5.0% , we hope that underlines the quality of the pay plan.
We are seeking applications from experienced and successful asset finance business developers who have a demonstrable records of success and a network of hard asset customers that can be re-leverage working for a new employer.
Our client seeks those who are confident asking a customers who needs a rapid decision to pay 11% or higher but has the skills to recognise when to be won a deal may need to funded at a lower rate and to be able to build a relationship with a customer as a trusted advisor who can also offer a customer a range of choices if that is what they seek.
Crucially , we seek those that to be a success do not sell on price but on service.
You may today be working for a lease broker but be on a lower salary than you should be and have a commission plan where too much of what you deliver is retained by your employer. You may a high internal cost of funds or have to hit a high amount of profit before you start earning any commission. If this is you we want to talk to you.
You may be working commission only for a super broker be delivering but want to be a proper employee with a salary and benefits but still enjoy uncapped earnings , is this is you we want to talk to you.
You may be running your own lease brokerage have a strong customer following and be a success but would rather spend than more time selling than dealing with all the myriad of non customer facing activities that are part of running your own company. If this is you we want to talk to you.
You may be working for a lessor perhaps a bank be delivering strong volumes and good profit for your employer but are poorly paid in terms of your variable income , you may be frustrated by a year end paid discretionary bonus scheme that even if you deliver 150% of your number pays you just 10-15% of your salary .You may yearn for a mechanical pay plan that rewards you based on what you deliver rather than some opaque balance score card analysis system. If you are working in an environment where you are selling to customers at low rates you will need to convince us that you can make the transition to asking customers new and existing to pay 11.0% , many can’t but maybe you can – we are open minded , convince us you can make the transition.
