Our client one of the UK’s fastest growing asset financiers are seeking an additional Broker Business Development Manager to further develop the sales area of the East Midlands.
The role is one of driving greater volumes of business for hard asset finance from lease brokers on the sales area selling our clients market leading service which includes.
An easy to use but comprehensive app that allows your brokers propose deals , gain credit approval , raise digital documentation for signature and receive payout.
Typically you will be selling a service where the majority of deals are credit approved within 4 hours and many within 2 hours , once documentation is approved your brokers can receive same day payout.
Our client has over 350 brokers or Authorised Representatives that they actively support nationally so there is no shortage of opportunity on the East Midlands sales area.
You will be tasked with achieving sensible volume and margin targets which we will be very happy to disclosure to any applicant we wish to put forward for the role.
Candidate Profile
To apply for the position you must live in the East Midlands and must have an external sales background in asset finance.
Given the salary range is limited to £60,000 our client are willing to also consider applications from those who are not today brokers managers but may be lease brokers seeking to become a broker manager or those with vendor or sales aid experience who would like to transition to become a broker manager or those with direct asset finance sales experience who have the skills to be able to generate business via lease brokers.
In essence our seeking to hire those with the right aptitude and attitude and the ability to fit with the team. But whatever your exact asset finance sales background is , you must be someone who is an active , driven individual with a focus on high activity.
Whilst the position is home based , this is not a role where you can expect to generate business by phone or by teams from brokers the position involves you getting out and physically meeting your brokers face to face.
Our client have found that every time one of their Broker Business Development Manager physically meets with a broker it generates 3 new proposals.
It is a given that you will have well developed relationship development and management skills but you will also need to possess a broad understanding of the usual range of products of HP , sale and HP back , refinance , finance lease etc and have a good enough understanding of credit to know how to work with your brokers to shape a less than perfect deal into one that you can get approved.

Up to £60,000 salary plus car allowance , monthly paid commission with uncapped earnings , realistic £120,000 + earning opportunity.
