Our client a global financier for whom we have recruited for nearly 25 years and who finance both soft & hard assets and are part of a multi £BN global group are seeking to appoint a Head of People & Culture for UK & Ireland.
This is a very much a hands on role where you will have no direct or indirect reports .You will report to the UK & Ireland Managing Director and take full responsibility for c60+ UK & IR based staff. You will have a dotted line through to the Global Head of People & Culture.
You will be expected to really get to know the staff who range from administrators to global account managers managing multi £m global accounts with enterprise customers. Recruitment , although part of your role will form a very small part as annual staff turnover is extremely low < 3%.
You will lead the development and implantation of best practice HR processes and will work closely with fellow Heads of People & Culture based in France , Italy , Spain and the Benelux countries exporting and importing best practice as appropriate.

Candidate Profile
To apply you must be an experienced Human Resources professional , ideally qualified in your field.
Importantly you do not need a background in finance and leasing to apply , any hands on HR background of say c7 years plus in a large & complex group , ideally operating internationally would be ideal.
If you speak any languages to business standard other than English this would be a bonus but the lingua franca of our client globally is English so this is a nice to have not a must have.
The position is a hybrid role where you will be expected to be office based from our clients offices in the Eastern Thames Valley for 3 day a week and up to 2 at home.
